If you are looking for an authentic local sento, Atami-yu is the place to visit. This old-fashioned bath house has a traditional design. Atami-yu is nestled within the stone alleys of Iidabashi. The area, hidden from most tourists, is dotted with little shops and restaurants with a very local feel. The male and female sections are divided by a wall extending from the locker room to the end of the baths. Tickets cost ¥460. The laid back atmosphere allows you to feel like you are in your own private bathroom. Vintage design, tiled walls, and beautiful murals of Mt. Fuji make for a genuine Japanese experience.

I was thinking aboutgoing to Japan for a long time now. Its unique culture and stunning art always had a special place in my heart. I am a photographer and a writer, therefore nothing makes me more happy than capturing my travelling experience in beautiful photos and interesting articles. I have experience managing my own website, writing all content and promoting on social media. It would be an honor to work with Japan Travel and making Japan most desired tourism destination of all.
