This year concludes the 6th installment of Japan's biggest dance music festival, ULTRA JAPAN 2019. The festival was held on the 14th and 15th September in a 3 day weekend, allowing for a perfect detox day on the following public holiday after buzzing on the world's top dance music.

Held at a slightly new location the event moved its premises to Tokyo Odaiba ULTRA Park II. Whereas the ultra grounds had been significantly downsized, the quality of music certainly did not disappoint.

The event grounds contained 2 stages this year, ULTRA MAIN STAGE and ULTRA PARK STAGE. As usual ULTRA MAIN STAGE brought out Japan's finest such as KSUKE and DJ Tora combined with headliners of the world's top-notch including DJ SNAKE, Galantis, Afrojack, Steve Aoki and the long-awaited Return of Dash Berlin.

When tired of jumping at the main stage, ULTRA PARK STAGE provided an area to relax while listening to up-and-coming local DJ’s and watch the entertainment provided by Onitsuka Tiger.

This year you could also upgrade to VIP on the premises itself, which is great if you decide you want to chill in the ULTRA LOUNGE or walk to the special area in front of the ULTRA MAIN STAGE. The ULTRA LOUNGE moved its location to the rear of the main stage which meant that you could be in ultimate chill mode while still being able to relish the music of ULTRA's main stage.

Food options consisted of the regular jumbo karaage (fried chicken) sticks and pizza whereas drink booths consisted of the Juervo Tequila, Red bull, Hennessy and Cocalero. If you've got some extra money to spend, the VIP provides bottle services of Moet & Chandon and Dom Perignon in the range of ¥30,000 to ¥250,000.
